The Line

No matter how close you are to God, and how deep your relationship is, I have found that when you turn your back on God. Weather all you do is turn your back, walk away or flat out run as hard as you can, that all you have to do is turn around and The Line back to God is at your feet. The Line is always right behind you. Weather you are walking with God and turn away, The Line is there, or if you have ran for years away from God, just look behind you The Line is right there. You do not have to travel back through all those years of struggles and difficulties to get to God. He has been right behind you waiting for you to turn around, He told you he would never leave you or forsake you. He has had your back. The Line is always right behind you, so watch your step. Make the word of God a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your path.

Light and Shadow

Today at work I was watching the sunshine and noticed how shadows were moving. When all of a sudden I had a BFO ( blinding flash of the obvious). I realized that as Christians we are used to light. we have the Son, and darkness is the absence of light.
A shadow is formed when something passes in front of a light source. If you follow the shadow it will lead in time to darkness. But if you look beyond the shadow you will find the light.
Satan walks around the earth, roaming to and fro looking for whom he can devour, occasionally he passes between you and God and causes a shadow in your life. Be encouraged when you see a shadow because the shadow means there is a light.
Our light is Christ.

Jesus said to the people, "I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t be stumbling through the darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life." John 8:12

Cinnamon Rolls

Well I did it. I got up Sunday morning and made cinnamon rolls. I made sure I had all the ingredients ready, and followed the recipe off Sheri's blog. After having the dough all done and rising I realized I never put in the pudding, so I checked the recipe and it didn't say when to put it in, so it never made it in, They still turned out fine and tasted great. Your right Sher they do have a better texture when you roll them as apposed to knotting them. I like the edges being a little crispy. I feel so Metro-sexual.

Time out

I have been visiting my parents this week. It has been hard being away from my family. But I have enjoyed spending time not thinking about things. I have been able to see my brothers children and have fully enjoyed being jumped on and mauled. I forgot what that was like to have children crawling all over you. Makes you feel young again. you get caught up in the laughter of children and you can't help but smile and laugh. Thanks to my wife for insisting I go and just clear my head. This has been my Time out. I know the game will begin again, I only hope I am refreshed and ready to play.
